My name is Dr. Hilde Garstman. I started practicing optometry in the Netherlands in 2006. Three years later, I moved to Canada and started working in Vancouver after I successfully passed the Canadian Standard Assessment for Optometrists (CSAO).
I have a long affiliation with vision care. I started to work as a licensed Optician years before I became an Optometrist. After becoming the manager of the optical store I was working for, I decided that I wanted to learn more about Eye-Health Care rather than focusing on business administration. I discovered that my passion is providing health care to patients and being in contact with them. Below are the highlights of my career:
